Heavy wishes on starless skies

Your enchanting eyes
I love to look inside- where I can see the universe but also my possible demise.
Fell so hard and moved so fast –
I’m not surprised we didn’t last.
But My heart feels wrecked and the pain feels hard to get past.
I feel the anguish of your absence in the tightness of my stomach.
Mentally exhausted from bargaining with fate to give you give you back
When shit gets heavy I miss your awkward laugh
But what I really miss.. is the way we held each other steady.
Tonight I’m laying in my bed- tears welling in my eyes.
I wish on every star
That whichever way your journey takes you,
that it doesn’t take you very far.
I’m hanging on to the promise I made to myself and the universe
Hot cheeks and a knot in my throat – I never thought that in your mental castle you would build a moat between us – to keep my love away from you- remote
I miss your eyes on me and counting all the beauty marks that grace your gorgeous body.
Every night I go to bed and conjure you up cause my soul craves yours – I literally can’t sleep without it
The day I used my words to sever the link between your world and my own-
When I decided you deserved the most mature version of me- I need to listen to the universe- you need me to be grown.
While I’m healing and breaking cycles – have your fun- indulge your trifles
For if we come together once again
From you my love I need more than empty words and embellished inaction- I need you to love me as I’ll love myself.
With intention and rigorous passion.
